Supporting Shareholder Nations
The Coastal Nations Fisheries team consists of two main parts—the Board of Directors and the Operations Team. These groups work together to ensure that the CNF economic alliance is transparent and accountable to all eight shareholder Nations.

Our Nation Representatives
The CNF Board serves as the key governing body responsible for overseeing the organization’s strategic direction, ensuring its long-term sustainability, and upholding its mission and values. The core responsibilities of the Board are to ensure governance and oversight; set strategic direction; oversee financial risk management; hire and continuously evaluate the CEO; report to and communicate with shareholders; and engage in ongoing self-assessment and learning.
The Board is comprised of one representative of each shareholder Nation, with three representatives from Haida, ensuring the Nations’ voices are heard and respected on every level of the company.
