Supporting Shareholder Nations

The Coastal Nations Fisheries team consists of two main parts—the Board of Directors and the Operations Team. These groups work together to ensure that the alliance is accountable to all eight shareholder Nations. They are also responsible for ensuring that funds are invested wisely in licenses and quotas and provide a sufficient return on the initial investment.

A Board of Directors for Coastal Nations Fisheries (GP) Inc. provide for a strong governance framework and transparent and accountable management of CNF and its operations.

Together, their commitment to the shareholders is to ensure CNF is accountable to the interests of all shareholder Nations, ensuring funds are invested wisely in licenses and

quotas and that they provide a sufficient return on the initial investment.

With representatives from each shareholder Nation, the Board ensures CNF fulfills its mandate to provide employment and training opportunities and enable access to community and commercial fisheries.
