Diver’s Catch Gala: A Feast from the Sea

On September 20, 2025, the BC Dive Fisheries Society hosted its inaugural Diver’s Catch Gala—a true feast for the senses. Eleven top chefs were set around the Deck at the Radisson Blue - a beautiful location with stunning marina views in Richmond, BC - showcasing what can only be described as culinary art.


Excitedly, the crowd of 275 guests shuffled from station to station savouring sustainably harvested ocean-to-table sea urchin, geoduck and sea cucumber dishes. While enjoying the delicacies, the attendees also had the opportunity to learn about the sustainable harvesting practices of BC’s dive fisheries and connect with the divers who brought the harvest to the table.


Coastal Nations Fisheries was a proud sponsor of the event and would like to express its gratitude to BC Dive Fisheries Society, its partners and fellow sponsors as well as the divers, chefs and entire support crew who shaped an unforgettable evening.
