The 2023 CNF Annual Report highlights our first year as a 100% Indigenous-owned commercial fishing business, and ongoing efforts to revive community-based fishing fleets and the livelihoods they provide for families in coastal communities.
This work will have lasting, positive effects for all shareholder Nations: the Gitga’at, Gitxaała, Haida, Heiltsuk, Kitasoo Xai’xais, Metlakatla, Nuxalk and Wuikinuxv First Nations.
The report may look back at the year in review, but it is mostly about looking ahead to the future, and at the foundational work being carried out today to ensure healthy, thriving economies for all shareholder First Nations.
